I have a VIVOSUN 2700GPH pump. The water flow rate of the pump is strong but it does not pick up fish waste. Why?
Height from the bottom of my pond to the filter is about 5 ft high. And I use a 2700GPH pump. The water flow rate is very strong. But it does not pick up the debris coming from the fishes. i have a 150 gallon pond and I have only 8 7" long kois. The pump is not clogged. I hosed it down frequently. Fish waste just gather around the pump. It does not get sucked in to the filter.
