How do I descale the INVENTUM HW217B & HW217W Kettle?

I have noticed some scale buildup inside my kettle and I want to know how to properly descale it. Can I use any descaling product or are there specific ones recommended by the manufacturer? Is there a step-by-step process for descaling mentioned in the manual?
