To connect the abetap X85 Smart PTZ Battery Camera to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
1. Download and install the VicoHome App on your Android or iOS device. You can scan the QR code provided in the instruction manual or visit the link: https://www.vicohome.io/download/.
2. Sign in to the VicoHome App and connect your mobile phone to your Wi-Fi network.
3. In the App, click on "Add Camera Now" and enter the Wi-Fi network name and password that you want the camera to connect to.
4. Please note that the camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi with stronger wall penetration capability. It does not support Wi-Fi for enterprise-level authentication.
5. After entering the Wi-Fi details, click "Continue" to generate a QR code for pairing the camera.
6. Press and hold the camera's power button for 3 seconds to turn it on. You should hear a scanning sound "Ding xxxx Ding xxxx " indicating that the camera is turned on.
7. Hold the camera about 20 cm (7 inches) away from your phone's screen, with the camera lens facing the QR code generated on the VicoHome App. Wait for a "Ding" sound to confirm successful pairing.
8. Once the camera is successfully connected, you can set a name for the device in the App and select its location. Click "Continue" to complete the pairing process.
