To install the Uolfin 5069554 12.5 Inch Incandescent Semi-flush Mount Light, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting, make sure to turn off the electricity by going to the main fuse or circuit breaker box in your home and placing the main power switch in the OFF position. Also, turn off the wall switch.
2. Ensure that the mounting surface is clean, dry, flat, strong enough, and at least 1/4 larger than the canopy on all sides. Correct any gaps exceeding 3/16 as necessary.
3. Verify that the ceiling or wall can support the weight of the lamp before installation.
4. Confirm that the voltage you are using is 120V, and do not exceed a maximum wattage of 40W per bulb.
5. Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances to prevent damage to the surface.
