To install the Uolfin 5069685 3-Light Matte Gold Contemporary Vanity Light, please follow the steps outlined in the instruction manual provided:
1. Before starting, make sure to turn off the power by going to the main fuse or circuit breaker box in your home and placing the main power switch in the "OFF" position. Also, ensure that the wall switch is in the "OFF" position.
2. Prepare the necessary tools, including a screwdriver and wire connectors (not included).
3. Ensure that the mounting surface is clean, dry, flat, and strong enough to support the weight of the lamp. It should also be 1/4" larger than the canopy on all sides. Correct any gaps exceeding 3/16" as required.
4. Check that the voltage you are using is 120V, and do not exceed a maximum wattage of 40W per bulb.
5. Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances to avoid damaging the surface.
6. When replacing bulbs, always turn off or unplug the lamp and wait until it is cool, as bulbs can get hot quickly.
7. Carefully unpack the fixture and ensure that all parts and accessories are included.
8. Begin the installation by unscrewing the xxxx nuts from the back plate and setting them aside for later.
9. Secure the mounting plate to the outlet box using the provided mounting screws.
10. Make wire connections according to the provided chart, ensuring that the ground wire is connected properly. Twist the wires together with plastic wire connectors and wrap each connector with electrical tape. Tuck all wires into the outlet box.
11. Align the holes in the back plate with the pre-assembled mounting screws and attach the back plate to the mounting plate using the previously removed xxxx nuts. Hand tighten until snug.
12. Fix the cloth shades to the sockets using the socket rings.
13. Install bulbs (not included) into the sockets, making sure not to exceed the recommended maximum wattage.
14. Double-check that everything is installed properly before turning on the light.
15. To clean the fixture, wipe it with a soft cloth. For the glass, use a mild cleaner and avoid abrasive materials.
