According to the user guide, the dishwasher filter should be removed and cleaned every 1 to 3 months for best performance. To clean the filter, follow these steps:
1. Pull out the lower rack of the dishwasher.
2. Grasp the Filter Cup located at the bottom of the dishwasher and rotate it counterclockwise.
3. Pull up to remove the Filter Cup.
4. Remove the Filter Plate.
5. Rinse both the Filter Cup and Filter Plate under cold water in the sink. You can use a soft brush to remove any stuck-on food particles.
6. Replace the Filter Plate, ensuring it is correctly seated under the tabs.
7. To install the Filter Cup, push it down through the opening and turn it clockwise to seat it properly. It should click into place when seated correctly.
8. Make sure the filter is securely in place before operating the dishwasher. Do not use the dishwasher with loose or missing filters.
By regularly cleaning the dishwasher filter, you can ensure optimal performance and prevent clogs or blockages that may affect the cleaning ability of the dishwasher.
