To install the WINDLIGHT FOLD DC Ceiling Fan, follow these steps:
1. Prepare for installation: Ensure that the installation location provides enough clearance from the ground and any walls or obstructions. Make sure the mounting bracket is securely attached to the building structure and can support the weight of the fan.
2. Fix the mounting bracket: Depending on the type of ceiling (wooden or concrete), securely attach the mounting bracket using wood screws and washers or expansion screws.
3. Assemble and hang the fan: Loosen the set screws and washer on top of the motor housing. Insert the rosette through the hanger bar and pass the cables through the bar. Place the bar inside the motor housing and tighten the set screws and washers. Lower the rosette onto the motor housing.
4. Connect the remote control: Make the connection between the receiver wires and the fan motor wires following the color indications. Ensure a firm connection. Connect the ground wire (green/yellow).
5. Canopy assembly: Raise the rosette up to the mounting bracket and align the screws in the mounting bracket with the holes in the rosette. Rotate the fin to adjust. Reinsert the screws and secure with a screwdriver. Pass the rod through the mounting bracket opening and let the ball rest on the mounting bracket. Rotate the ball coupling until it lines up with the tab on the mounting bracket.
6. Blades assembly: Align the holes in the fan blade holder with the holes in the fan blades and motor body. xxxx them into place but do not tighten until all blades are attached. Lock the fan blade to the iron plate A with screws. Fasten the iron plate B to the motor with screws. Install all blades on the motor.
7. Connections panel assembly: Hook the connection plate to the bottom of the fan by inserting the xxxx heads into the designated holes. xxxx in the screws and secure.
8. Ceiling fan with LED light: Connect the single-pin plugs on the backplane with those on the LED panel. Attach the LED panel to the patch panel by snapping them together. xxxx the lampshade back onto the connection plate.
