To install the CORSA CC0010 Oil Catch Can Kit on your Gen 3 Ford Raptor, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to review the enclosed instructions and ensure that all parts are present according to the bill of materials.
2. Begin by removing the two nuts from the bolt that hold down the engine cover using a 10mm socket wrench. Pull the engine cover out towards the front of the vehicle.
3. Locate the stock PCV line, which is located on the passenger side of the engine, and remove it.
4. Install the barbed fittings and bracket to the catch can using an 11/16" wrench and a 2.5mm hex wrench. It is recommended to use thread sealant or PTFE tape on the barbed fittings and bottom drain plug to prevent any leaks.
5. Locate the bolt and nut on the driver's side firewall that holds the coolant reservoir. Remove the nut using a 10mm socket and install the catch can, securing it by reinstalling the nut.
6. Install the quick disconnect fittings to one end of each hose. Attach hose A to the A end of the catch can and route the hose along the firewall to connect it to the BROWN fitting on the engine.
7. Connect Hose B to the "B" side of the catch can and route the line in front of the engine and underneath the intake duct to connect it to the BLACK fitting on the engine. Make sure the fittings are fully secured and the hose is pushed all the way over the ends of the fittings.
8. Reinstall the engine cover.
9. Note that the hose length may be cut to the desired length and routing depending on the model year and options of your F-150.
10. Before road testing, start the engine, leave the transmission in park, and secure the parking brake. Look and listen for any unusual noises or air leaks and repair any problems if needed.
11. After a few heat cycles, it is necessary to periodically check for realignment and tightening of all connections.
12. To empty the catch can, twist off the bottom of the catch can and dispose of the collected oil. It is recommended to check and empty the catch can with every oil change.
