To activate the JOTRON Tron 60AIS EPIRB with Float-Free and Manual Bracket, you have two options: manual activation and water activation.
1. Manual Activation: To manually activate the EPIRB, follow these steps:
a. Remove the EPIRB from its bracket.
b. Pull out the antenna to its full length.
c. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for at least 3 seconds until the LED starts flashing.
d. The EPIRB is now activated and transmitting distress signals.
2. Water Activation: The EPIRB is designed to automatically activate when submerged in water. Once the EPIRB is submerged, it will automatically deploy from the bracket and start transmitting distress signals.
