The intermediate filter in the KARCHER DS 6, DS 6 Premium Vacuum should be cleaned at least every 8 weeks with normal use. If the suction performance is deteriorating, the filter may need to be cleaned sooner. To clean the filter, use a soft household sponge and avoid damaging the coated fins. If the filter is damaged or extremely dirty, it should be replaced.
