To install the Schreder Tflex Module, please follow these steps:
1. Start by switching off the power before beginning any installation, maintenance, or repair activities.
2. Determine the desired mounting method for the module. The manual provides several options, including fixed brackets, suspended swiveling fixation (pull out or adjustable), wall swiveling fixation (pull out or adjustable), and hook fixation. Choose the appropriate method based on your requirements.
3. If using hook fixation, adjust the hooks according to the cable tray size. For the standard version, the cable tray size should be between W100 - 400mm. For custom or studio requests, the cable tray size should be between 100-400 mm.
4. Ensure that the light source contained in the luminaire is only replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent, or a qualified person.
5. Take note of the 5P connector and the corresponding connector pin numbers for each circuit. Circuit 1 corresponds to pins 1, 2, and 3, while Circuit 2 corresponds to pins 4 and 5. The Earth pin is also indicated.
6. If using a PVC insulated mains cable, it is crucial to protect the entire cable against climatic conditions, particularly UV rays and rain. Make sure the cable is contained inside the luminaire and pole.
7. In the case of a Y-connection, if there is any damage to the wire, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, distributor, or an expert to avoid risks.
