The air filter in the STELPRO SEF Series Electric Furnace should be replaced two to four times a year, depending on the model used and the installation area. Dirtier areas may require more frequent filter changes. To replace the filter, open the access door to the filter, remove the old filter, and insert the new one inside the rack. Make sure the new filter has the same technical specifications and size as the previous one. It is important to regularly clean or replace the air filter to prevent excessive dust or dirt accumulation, which can block airflow and cause the unit to work harder, increasing energy consumption and heating costs.
