To clean the Panasonic NU-MX100P Multifunctional Steam Sterilizer and Dryer, you can follow these steps:
1. Descaling the product: It is recommended to descale the product every 1-2 weeks to ensure it works at 100% efficiency. You can use citric acid or white vinegar for descaling.
- Citric Acid Method: Dissolve 1 packet (10g) of citric acid in 150 ml of water. Pour the solution into the water storage tank of the base. Press the "Power" button and then press the "Reheating/Steam" button. Let the product work for 1-2 minutes. Cut off the power supply and let the solution rest in the tank for 30 minutes. Pour out the solution, rinse the tank thoroughly, and dry it.
- White Vinegar Method: Dilute 30 ml of white vinegar with 120 ml of cold water. Pour the solution into the water storage tank of the base. Press the "Power" button and then press the "Reheating/Steam" button. Let the product work for 1-2 minutes. Cut off the power supply and let the solution rest in the tank for 30 minutes. Pour out the solution, rinse the tank thoroughly, and dry it.
2. Cleaning the air filter: The filter at the bottom of the base can be removed for cleaning. After cleaning, re-install it on the base with the silver side facing outward.
It is important to read the instructions carefully before using any cleaning agents and ensure you follow the recommended safety precautions.
Note: It is recommended to use pre-boiled or filtered water to reduce the generation of scale in the first place.
