To access the camera menu and configure settings for the NOVUS NHDC-5VE-5102 camera, follow these steps:
1. Access the menu: You can access the camera menu from the recorder menu using the PTZ menu or the UTC remote control menu.
2. Navigate the menu: Use the directional buttons or the PTZ menu's "Iris +" button to navigate through the menu options.
3. Configure settings: The camera menu is divided into several sections where you can configure various options. Here are some of the main sections and their settings:
- AE (Exposure Settings): Set the image brightness, exposure type, and enable Back Light Compensation (BLC).
- AWB (White Balance Settings): Set the white balance to automatic (ATW) or manual (MWB) color level adjustment.
- DAY/NIGHT: Set the camera mode to automatic day/night switching (AUTO), color operation (COLOR), or black and white operation with IR illuminator on (B/W).
- IMAGE ENHANCE: Adjust image settings such as contrast, sharpness, color saturation, and enable noise reduction mechanisms with wide dynamic range function (DWDR). This section also includes a mirror option for different mirroring functions.
- VIDEO OUTPUT: Select the camera work standard (AHD, TVI, CVI, and CVBS) and resolutions (5MP, 4MP, 1080P).
- LANGUAGE: Change the menu language. The default language is English.
- RESET: Option to restore factory settings.
4. Save and exit: After making changes to the settings, use the SAVE&EXIT option to save the changes and exit the menu.
Note: Closing the menu with the EXIT option does not cancel the previously introduced changes. These changes will remain in effect until a reset is performed or the camera is powered off and on.
