To check and change the oil in the K n S KSB 30A Gasoline Generator, follow these steps:
1. Before starting, make sure the generator is on a flat surface and the engine is warm.
2. Stop the engine and turn the fuel tank cap to the "OFF" position.
3. Loosen the screws and remove the motor cover.
4. Place an oil drain tray under the engine.
5. Unscrew the oil drain cap with a hexagon key.
6. Wait for the oil to drain completely. You can tilt the generator for better drainage.
7. Add the recommended engine oil (SAE 10W-30 or SAE 10W-40) to the high level on the dipstick.
8. Wipe the oil drain cap with a clean, dry cloth and clean any oil spills.
9. Replace the oil filler cap.
10. Replace the vent cover and tighten the screws.
It is recommended to change the oil every 25 operating hours or if the generator is often working at high temperatures or high loads. Always refer to the specifications in the manual for the correct oil type and quantity.
