To install the Martinic Lem Echo Music plugin on your computer, follow these steps:
1. Determine the system requirements: Lem Echo Music is available as a VST 2.4, AU (Audio Units), or CLAP (CLever Audio Plugin) effect plugin. Make sure you have a compatible host software such as Ableton Live, Cubase, GarageBand, Logic Pro, REAPER, or Studio One. Lem Echo Music is designed to run on Windows 7 or newer, or Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or newer.
2. Download the installer: Visit the Martinic website and download the appropriate installer for your operating system (Windows or Mac). Save the installer on your computer, for example, in your Downloads folder.
3. Windows Installation:
- Locate the downloaded installer and double-click on it.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, carefully reading and agreeing to the license agreement.
- Select the versions of the plugin you want to install (VST2 32-bit and/or 64-bit).
- Optionally, customize the GUI scale or enter your license key if you have purchased one.
- Choose the install location and select your VST2 plugin folder.
- Wait for the installation to complete and click on the Close button.
4. Mac Installation:
- Locate the downloaded installer disk image (DMG) and double-click on it.
- Double-click on the Lem Echo Music Installer.pkg icon.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, carefully reading and agreeing to the license agreement.
- Select the versions of the plugin you want to install (VST2, AU, and CLAP).
- Optionally, enter your license key if you have purchased one.
- Choose the install location.
- Wait for the installation to complete and click on the Close button.
5. Load Lem Echo Music in your host software: Launch your host software (e.g., Ableton Live, Cubase, etc.) and create an audio track or load a project where you want to use Lem Echo Music. Look for the plugin listed as "Martinic Lem Echo Music" or "Lem Echo Music" in your host's plugin list. Add it to the desired track or bus as an insert effect.
6. Explore the controls and settings: Lem Echo Music can be used in FX view or Settings view. FX view provides a simplified set of controls, while Settings view offers more detailed control over every parameter. Adjust the controls by clicking and dragging them, or use the mouse wheel while holding the Ctrl key. Refer to the manual for detailed explanations of each control.
Remember to use caution when using high values of feedback (Repeat control) to prevent extreme feedback loops. It is recommended to use a limiter on your master channel to protect your equipment and hearing.
