If your MATRIX XER-02 Cardio Console is experiencing issues during pairing or updating, it may be due to a mismatch between the console and frame. This issue specifically affects consoles and frames manufactured in Vietnam. The consoles manufactured at the JIV factory in Vietnam have a hardcoded prefix that may not match the serial number displayed on the serial number sticker.
To resolve this issue, you can follow these steps:
1. Convert the frame and console serial numbers into their original JIS equivalent prefixes. This will allow them to be paired and updated when a software patch becomes available.
2. If you have a console with a serial number sticker, such as TM1026XXXXXXX, during first-time setup, the serial number prefix displayed on the console screen will be TM751. You only need to input the numbers after the prefix on your serial number sticker for proper console operation. The Console Serial Number prefix should remain as the JIS version, which is TM751 in this case.
3. If you have a JIV frame with a serial number, such as EP297XXXXXXX, during first-time setup, the serial number prefix will be EP297. You should convert the JIV frame prefix number to FEP729XXXXXXX according to the chart provided in the manual. Match the JIV model to the equivalent JIS model and add an "F" at the start of the prefix.
By following these steps, you should be able to pair and update your MATRIX XER-02 Cardio Console successfully. If you encounter any further issues, it is recommended to contact customer support or refer to the official user guide for additional assistance.
