To set up your Echo Dot D9N29T 3rd Gen Smart Speaker, follow these steps:
1. Plug in your Echo Dot: Connect the power adapter to your Echo Dot and then plug it into a power outlet. The blue light ring on the top of the device will start spinning.
2. Wait for Alexa to greet you: In about 1 minute, Alexa will greet you and let you know to complete the setup in the Alexa App.
3. Download the Alexa App: Download the latest version of the Alexa App from your app store. This app will help you get more out of your Echo Dot, including setting up calling and messaging, managing music, lists, settings, and news.
4. Set up your device: After opening the Alexa App, if you are not prompted to set up your device, tap the Devices icon in the lower right corner of the app to get started. You can also start the setup process from your computer browser at https://alexa.amazon.com. For more detailed instructions, refer to the user manual provided with your Echo Dot.
