To connect your Blue Ridge cable modem to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Connect the coax cable: Take one end of the coax cable and connect it to an active cable wall outlet. Take the other end and connect it to the back of the cable modem. Use the plastic wrench provided to tighten both coax connections.
2. Plug in the cable modem: Connect your cable modem to a power outlet using the provided power cord.
3. Wait for the online light: Wait for approximately 5 minutes or until there is a solid green online light on the front of the modem. This indicates that your modem is connected to the internet.
4. Connect to your computer: Use the provided Ethernet cable to connect your modem to your computer. If you prefer a wireless connection, refer to the HomeFi Quick Start Guide instructions to set up your eero unit(s) or use the Ethernet cable to connect your personal router device.
5. Test your internet connection: Once connected, test your internet connection by opening a web browser and visiting a website. If the website loads successfully, your internet connection is working.
By following these steps, you should be able to connect your Blue Ridge cable modem to your computer and access the internet.
