Descaling the boiler is an important maintenance task for the KARCHER SG 4/4 Steam Cleaner. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to descale the boiler:
1. Pull the mains plug out of the socket and allow the device to cool down.
2. Drain the water completely out of the steam boiler.
3. Dissolve two bags of KARCHER Bio Descaler RM 511 in 2 liters of warm water, stirring constantly.
4. Pour the descaling solution into the kettle. Do not xxxx the safety lock onto the device during the descaling process.
5. Allow the descaling solution to take effect for approximately 8 hours.
6. Pour out the descaling solution and rinse the boiler at least two more times with cold water to ensure that there are no more residues in the device.
7. Switch on the device.
8. Press the reset button until the "Descaling" indicator light goes out. The device is now ready for use.
Note: It is important to use descalers that have been approved by KARCHER to prevent damage to the device. Do not use vinegar or similar agents for descaling.
