To connect the TCP Smart LED Smart Floodlight to the app and your home WiFi router, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have a smart device such as a mobile phone or tablet.
2. Access the Google or Apple app store on your smart device and download the TCP Smart app.
3. Ensure you have the name and password for your WiFi network.
4. Confirm that your home WiFi router is running on 2.4GHz and not 5GHz. If you are unsure, consult your broadband provider for instructions on how to change the settings.
5. Turn off any WiFi extenders during the setup process.
6. Check if there are any limitations on the number of devices allowed by your broadband provider.
7. Make sure the TCP Smart LED Smart Floodlight is compatible with 2.4GHz WiFi networks only.
Once you have completed these steps, you can proceed with the following:
1. Connect the TCP Smart LED Smart Floodlight to a power supply.
2. Open the TCP Smart app on your smart device and select "Register."
3. Choose to register with either your email or mobile number and enter your details.
4. Obtain the verification code sent to your email or mobile phone and enter it within 60 seconds.
5. Set a password for your account.
6. Create a family for your devices and select the rooms you want to include.
7. On the home page of the app, tap the "+" button or select "Add device."
8. Choose "Lighting" from the list of products.
9. Connect your TCP Smart LED Smart Floodlight to the power supply and wait for it to start flashing rapidly.
10. Confirm the flashing and proceed to the next screen.
11. Select your WiFi network from the list and enter the password.
12. The app will start the connection process, and once the device is found, the flashing will stop, and the connection wheel will reach 100%.
13. Rename the device to suit your needs, such as "living room."
14. Your TCP Smart LED Smart Floodlight is now connected and ready to use within the app.
