To install the GENERAL PUMP YFLOATVALVE Brass Float Valve, follow these steps:
1. Start by ensuring that the water supply is turned off.
2. Identify the inlet port on the valve, which is labeled as "Inlet Port Size: 3/8-19 BSPP-M" in the specifications.
3. Connect the valve to the water supply line using a suitable plumbing connector. The valve has a 3/8" male BSP coupling (Part No. Y29017236) that can be connected to a corresponding female BSP fitting.
4. Tighten the connection securely using a wrench or pliers, ensuring there are no leaks.
5. Locate the drain tube (Part No. Y29016236) on the valve and ensure it is properly positioned for water drainage.
6. If necessary, adjust the position of the valve for optimal operation and clearance.
7. Once the valve is installed, turn on the water supply and check for any leaks.
8. The valve is now ready for use.
