To install a RAM module in the ASUS FA506QE TUF Gaming Laptop, please follow these steps:
1. Disconnect all connected peripherals, telephone or telecommunication lines, and the power connector (such as external power supply and battery pack) before removing the base cover.
2. Remove the base cover by removing the screws from the bottom of the laptop.
3. Disconnect the cable from the battery connector using a non-conductive pry tool.
4. Remove the existing RAM module by unlocking and removing it from the memory slot. If there is any material pasted on the RAM, keep it to be reused for the new RAM installation.
5. Paste the two ABSORBERS from the old RAM module onto the new RAM module's front and back sides.
6. Align the new RAM module at a 30° angle and insert it into the memory slot.
7. Push down the RAM module until it clicks into place.
8. Paste the DIMM COVER MYLAR on the motherboard.
9. Reconnect the battery connector following the instructions in the manual.
10. Install the base cover by tilting it slightly at the upper side first, then pressing the upper side from right to left to fix it. Slowly put the base cover down and press the left and right sides as well as the lower side to fix it.
11. Secure the base cover in place using the screws.
