To clean and maintain the Russell Hobbs 26050-70 HoneyComb kettle, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the stand and allow the kettle to cool before cleaning.
2. Wipe all surfaces of the kettle with a clean damp cloth.
3. Keep the connectors dry to avoid any damage.
4. Open the lid of the kettle.
5. Push the hook on top of the filter down and lift the filter out of the kettle.
6. Rinse the filter under a running tap while brushing it with a soft brush to remove any debris.
7. Lower the filter back into the kettle and engage the bottom hook in the bottom of the spout.
8. Press the top of the filter towards the kettle to lock the hook in place.
9. Close the lid of the kettle.
Additionally, it is recommended to descale the kettle regularly, at least once a month. Use a proprietary descaler and follow the instructions provided with the descaler. Failure to descale the kettle may result in faults due to scale build-up, and any repairs required due to scale will not be covered under the guarantee.
Remember to always unplug the kettle before cleaning or performing any maintenance tasks.
