To connect the VIESSMANN EM-P1 Pump Extension to your heating system, follow these steps:

1. Mount the extension module enclosure to the wall using the supplied hardware. Make sure to loosen the retaining screws from the enclosure and remove the cover before mounting.

2. Connect the DHW recirculation pump:

a. If there is already a plug connected to the DHW recirculation pump, remove it and connect plug fH.

b. Insert the plug into slot P3 on the extension module.

3. Connect the heating circuit pump:

a. Connect the heating circuit pump to a contactor/relay (B).

b. Connect the contactor/relay to the power supply with disconnect and protection (C).

c. Make sure the specifications of the heating circuit pump and contactor/relay match the requirements mentioned in the manual.

4. Set the rotary switch (S1) on the EM-P1 extension according to the table provided in the manual.

5. Connect the PlusBus to the boiler:

a. Disconnect plug jF from the heat generator.
