To install the Swiss Madison SM-WT465MB Calice Round Toilet Bowl, follow these steps:
1. Prior to installation, inspect the toilet for any damages that may have occurred during shipping.
2. Make sure to comply with all plumbing and building codes according to your state and local requirements.
3. Measure your toilet bowl before installation to ensure proper fit.
4. It is recommended to hire a licensed professional to install the toilet bowl.
5. Read the installation and maintenance instructions thoroughly before starting the installation process.
6. Use the suggested tools and materials listed in the manual.
7. Install the tank carrier system according to the manufacturer's instructions.
8. Dry fit the outlet pipe and inlet pipe by fully inserting the straight tube into the cistern flushing outlet and connecting the pipe into the discharge outlet. Mark the finished wall location on each pipe.
9. Apply lubricant on the rubber washers of the straight tube and connecting pipe, then insert them into the holes. Mark lines on the pipes.
10. Measure the distance between the marked lines on both pipes and cut the pipes accordingly. Remove any burrs and bevel the pipe edge.
11. Adjust the length of the connecting bolt to be d + 13/16".
12. Anchor the bowl by hand tightening the notched pegs onto the mounting bolt, ensuring the notch is facing up.
13. Insert the retaining bolt into the mounting hole on the back of the toilet from the inside. Secure the retaining bolt by screwing the two parts together using the retaining bolt key and allen wrench. Repeat for the other mounting hole.
14. Apply lubricant to the joint surface on the straight tube and connecting pipe, then place the bowl onto the mounting bolts.
15. Insert set screws into the top of the retaining bolts using the set xxxx installation tubes, then tighten with the allen wrench to secure the bowl. Fill any gaps with cement or sealant to seal.
