- Make sure the ring bolts do not overlap the lower edge of the base plate.
- Tighten the four-ring bolts to achieve the final fine alignment or adjustment of the drill rig.

- If you are fastening on concrete or brickwork, measure and drill a mounting hole for the dowel fastening.
- Clean the drill dust from the borehole.
- Apply the concrete dowel or brickwork dowel.
- Attach the drill rig and fasten using the U-washer and nut.
3. Bracing with the quick clamp column:
- Align the drill rig and attach the quick clamp column to the base plate.
- Extend the quick clamp column and clamp the drill rig.
- Place a piece of wood or similar between the end of the column and the ceiling to distribute the contact pressure over a larger area.
4. Optional: Bracing with the strut head:
- Place a suitable spacer between the strut head and the wall/ceiling.
- Unscrew the strut head and clamp the drill rig.
- Place a piece of wood or similar between the end of the column and the ceiling to distribute the contact pressure over a larger area.
