To install the FX Luminaire MU LED Up Light, follow these steps:
1. Choose the desired location for the uplight and ensure it is suitable for outdoor installation.
2. Dig a hole in the ground that is deep enough to accommodate the uplight and its wiring.
3. Connect the uplight's wiring to a remote transformer, which is sold separately. The transformer should be compatible with 10-15VAC/VDC 50/60Hz input.
4. Insert the uplight into the hole, making sure it is securely positioned.
5. Connect the uplight's wiring to the transformer, following the manufacturer's instructions.
6. If desired, add any optional accessories such as the Hex Baffle or RecessorRing for additional effects.
7. Choose the lamp option that suits your needs, whether it's a halogen MR16 lamp, LED lamp, or ZD LED lamp.
8. Install the chosen lamp into the uplight's MR16 GU5.3 socket, using the retaining clips to secure it.
9. Attach the desired shield, if applicable, such as the Long Shield.
10. Finally, select the desired finish for the uplight, such as WG (White Gloss), FW (Flat White), AL (Aluminum), BZ (Bronze), DG (Dark Gray), WI (Weathered Iron), SB (Sedona Brown), or FB (Flat Black).
