To install the Google Nest Ivy Video Doorbell Wired, follow these steps:
1. Read the safety information in the user guide to ensure proper handling and usage of the doorbell.
2. Make sure you have a compatible power source. The doorbell requires a Class 2/SELV Source, rated: 16-24VAC, 10VA - 40VA, 50/60Hz. Do not connect the doorbell to your building mains power (110VAC or 220VAC).
3. Turn off power to the doorbell before installation if you are connecting it to existing wiring.
4. Use the included wire connector and chime connector with a compatible chime to power the doorbell.
5. Choose a suitable location for wall-mounting the doorbell. Install it in accordance with local building and installation regulations.
6. Use the provided base plate, wall screws, and wall anchors suited for your wall type to securely mount the doorbell.
7. Ensure that the doorbell is properly connected and aligned with the base plate.
8. Follow any additional instructions provided in the user guide for safely wall-mounting your device.
