To connect your Bose 872841 Music Amplifier to your speakers, please follow these steps:
1. Remove terminal block A: Locate terminal block A on the back of the amplifier and remove it by gently pulling it out.
2. Connect speaker wires to terminal block A: Each terminal block accepts one pair of speakers. Connect and secure the speaker wires to terminal block A as follows:
a. Insert the marked wire from the left speaker into the L+ terminal.
b. Insert the plain wire from the left speaker into the L- terminal.
c. Insert the marked wire from the right speaker into the R+ terminal.
d. Insert the plain wire from the right speaker into the R- terminal.
3. Reinsert terminal block A: Once the speaker wires are connected, carefully reinsert terminal block A back into the amplifier.
4. Connecting a second pair of speakers (optional): If you have a second pair of unpowered speakers, you can connect them using terminal block B. Repeat steps 1-3 for terminal block B.
5. Connect to power: Plug in the power cord of your amplifier to a power outlet. The amplifier will power on, and the light on the back of the amplifier will slowly blink amber.
6. Download the Bose Music app: On your phone, use the camera to scan the QR code provided on the amplifier or go to app.Bose.com/BMA. Follow the app instructions to download and install the Bose Music app.
7. Complete setup using the Bose Music app: Open the Bose Music app and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process for your amplifier. The app will guide you through connecting a bass module, adding music services, customizing the sound experience, working with a voice assistant, and getting updates and new features.
