To adjust the emissivity on the Fluke 561 HVAC Infrared and Contact Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Press the "MODE" button to enter the menu.
2. Use the arrow buttons to navigate to the "EMISSIVITY" option and press the "SELECT" button.
3. The current emissivity setting will be displayed. Use the arrow buttons to select the desired emissivity setting: Low (0.3), Medium (0.7), or High (0.95).
4. Press the "SELECT" button to confirm the emissivity setting.
5. The thermometer is now set to the adjusted emissivity value, allowing for more accurate temperature measurements on pipes and other shiny surfaces.
