To install the KOHLER 78059-RL-0 Rutledge White Round Slow-Close Toilet Seat, follow these steps:
1. Unthread the xxxx and fold the anchor.
2. Push the anchor into the hole, ensuring it unfolds completely when installed.
3. If your model includes bumpers, install them.
4. Remove the battery pack.
5. Insert four AA batteries into the battery pack, making sure they are oriented correctly.
6. Verify that the hinge pins are inserted.
7. Insert the battery pack.
8. Position the seat over the holes on the toilet.
9. Tighten the screws.
10. Follow the remaining instructions in the manual for quick release and adjustments.
11. To remove the seat, unlock the latches and grip the seat near the hinges, pulling it straight up.
12. For seat adjustment, loosen the screws and rotate the seat mount to move the seat position.
13. Position the latches over the studs and press firmly until they snap onto the studs.
14. Verify that the seat is aligned with the toilet and adjust as needed. Tighten the screws.
15. Lock the latches and close the covers.
