To install the OCTO Classic 1000-HOB Hang On the Back Protein Skimmer 90 Gallon, please follow these steps:
1. Remove the skimmer body and all the assembly parts. Refer to the checklist provided in the instruction manual.
2. Install the product as shown in the manual.
3. Hang the skimmer on the back of the tank, positioning it before tightening the xxxx . Make sure it is securely attached.
4. Fill the skimmer body with water until the water level reaches approximately 8 inches (20cm). Shut off the air valve completely and turn on the power.
5. As soon as the pump starts running, turn on the air valve. When micro bubbles start foaming, insert the air hose into the silencer.
6. An ideal water level will have foaming on the brim of the collection cup.

Note: It is important to ensure that the voltage shown on the label of the pump corresponds to the voltage of your power supply. Always unplug the pump before performing any maintenance tasks, and never run the pump dry. Do not clean the skimmer with any cleaning agents.
