To connect the Flash-Butrym F75100347 Waterbase Low Fog Machine to a DMX signal, you will need a cable with XLR-female to XLR-Male plugs. The device is equipped with DMX (in/out) interfaces, which are XLR 3(5)-pin sockets.
Here are the steps to connect the DMX signal:
1. Connect one end of the XLR cable to the DMX output of your controller or another fixture.
2. Connect the other end of the XLR cable to the DMX input (in) of the Flash-Butrym F75100347 Waterbase Low Fog Machine.
3. Repeat the above steps if you have multiple fixtures to connect in a daisy-chain configuration.
4. If this is the last fixture in the DMX chain, it is important to terminate the DMX signal with a terminator. Solder a 120Ω resistor between signal (-) and signal (+) into an XLR plug and plug it into the DMX output of the last fixture.
