To install the Honeywell Battery Safety Pressure Sensor, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the sensor is installed with the Honeywell logo facing up, as shown in Figure 1 of the instruction manual.
2. The sensor has a plastic housing material called PBT-GF30. Mount the sensor using two mounting holes and two M5 screws or bolts.
3. Use the appropriate torque for the screws or bolts. The maximum torque for a hexagon lobular socket pan head xxxx is Nm, and the maximum torque for a hexagon bolt with a flange is 2.4 Nm.
4. Connect the mating connector to the sensor. The recommended mating connector is TE MPN 175507-2.
5. Refer to Figure 2 in the manual for the pin description and connect the wires accordingly.
6. Once the sensor is securely mounted and the connections are made, you can proceed with the electrical connections and configuration as described in the manual.
