To clean the Groen SSB-3G-5G-10G Domestic Smartsteam100 Boilerless Steamer, follow these steps:
1. Press the OFF switch to turn the steamer off and open the steamer door. Allow the steamer to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Remove the steam lid by grasping the two tabs located on the lid front and sliding the lid forward.
3. Remove the left pan rack by lifting it up and pulling it away from the cavity wall.
4. Remove the right fan shroud and rack assembly by lifting it up and pulling it away from the cavity wall.
5. Clean the steam lid, left pan rack, and rack/shroud assembly to remove food soils. These parts can be cleaned in a dishwasher.
6. Use a mild detergent to wipe down the entire steamer cavity to remove food and scale particles. Pay special attention to cleaning the float probes if there is any food residue or loose scale present. A thin layer of tightly bound scale is normal and will not affect steamer performance.
7. Remove the drain strainer and clean it thoroughly to remove any build-up of debris.
8. Replace the pan racks and steam lid.
The steamer is now cleaned and ready to use. It is important to follow these cleaning instructions regularly to maintain the performance of the steamer.
