To set up the SABRE platform for automotive infotainment, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the kit and ensure all parts are included.
2. Download the necessary software and tools from the NXP website.
3. Insert the supplied SD card into the SD card socket on the CPU card.
4. Set up the boot switches according to the provided tables.
5. Connect a user-supplied RS-232 cable to the CPU card debug port.
6. Connect an HDMI monitor to the HDMI port for display.
7. Optionally, connect an LVDS LCD display to the CPU card connector.
8. Optionally, connect a JTAG cable to the JTAG adapter card and CPU card connector.
9. Optionally, connect the USB OTG cable to the micro USB connector on the CPU card.
10. Connect the power supply to the base board power jack and plug it into a wall outlet.
11. Ensure the LEDs on the CPU card and base board illuminate properly.
