To install the Lenovo ThinkSystem RAID 940-16i 4GB Flash PCIe Gen4 12Gb Adapter, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the adapter and inspect it for any damage. If there is any damage, contact Lenovo or your reseller for support.
2. Turn off the power to your computer and disconnect the AC power cord. Remove the computer cover according to the system documentation.
