To install the AMP Lighting ASPL-3029-B-BZ and ASPL-3029-P-BK Low Voltage Landscape Lighting, please follow the steps below:
1. Test Solar Light: Slide the ON/OFF switch of the fixture to the "ON" position. Cover the solar panels completely using a dark material. The fixture should light up when the solar panel is covered and turn off when uncovered. This step ensures that the fixture is functioning properly.
2. Install Fixture to Post: Attach the fixture onto a 4"x 4" square wood post using the provided self-tapping screws. Tighten the screws with a screwdriver to secure the fixture in place.
3. Remove Solar Panel: Use a screwdriver to remove the screws from the corners of the fixture body to detach the solar panel.
4. Replace Battery: Disconnect the quick connector by pressing the tabs on the side. Remove the old battery by unscrewing the two screws. Replace the battery with a new one and secure it using the previously removed screws. Reconnect the tabs of the quick connector. Reinstall the solar panel to the fixture body and secure it with the previously removed screws.
