To install the Lenovo ThinkSystem 440-8i SAS/SATA PCIe Gen4 12Gb HBA adapter, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the adapter and inspect it for any damage. If there is any damage, contact Lenovo or your reseller support representative.
2. Turn off the power to the computer and disconnect the AC power cord. Remove the computer cover.
