To connect the STCUT MYJG-60W Laser Power Supply to your laser engraver, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that all power to your engraver is turned off and disconnected.
2. Locate the first bank of the xxxx terminal block on the power supply. This is where you will connect the power input from your home or business's main power.
3. If you are assembling your laser, you will need to install the wiring correctly yourself. Place the wires into the proper slots on the terminal block and tighten them into place using the built-in screws. The order of the wires should be as follows:
- FG: Ground Wire for the Mains and Case
- AC: Neutral Wire to 110/220V Power
- AC2: Live Input from 110/220V Power
4. If this power supply is a compatible replacement part, you can simply plug in the old terminal block. However, if this is a replacement part for a device that formerly had four slots in this location, the laser return wire from the cathode is instead located on the rear of this device.
5. The second bank of the xxxx terminal block connects the power supply to the engraver's control system. If you already have an identical one set up, you can plug in your old terminal block directly. Otherwise, make sure to install the wiring correctly. It is recommended to use separately colored wiring.
- H: Connection for Active-High Devices
- L: Connection for Active-Low Devices
- P: Line to the Laser Trigger, Water, and Other Systems (such as a door switch)
- G: Ground Wire for the Control System, PWM Level Shifters, Potentiometers, etc.
- IN: Input Power for PWM Level Shifters or Potentiometers
- 5V: 5V Connection for Digital Signals
Please refer to the overall diagram in the manual for a visual representation of the terminal connections.
Note: It is important to ensure that the positive and negative output terminals are properly connected to the correct poles of your laser device before use. Exercise caution when handling the high-voltage anode wire and its connections.
