To install and set up the AVT DMX512 USB Converter, please follow the instructions below:
1. Connect the AVT DMX512 USB Converter to your computer's USB port using the included USB cable.
2. The device will be automatically recognized by your computer's operating system. If necessary, you can download the drivers from the following website: https://www.ftdichip.com/. Make sure to install the virtual COM port driver.
3. After installing the drivers, an additional virtual COM port will appear in your system.
4. Connect your lighting installation devices to the AVT DMX512 USB Converter using a 3-pin XLR socket.
5. Ensure that the power supply for the AVT DMX512 USB Converter is provided directly from the USB port of your computer.
6. The AVT DMX512 USB Converter is compatible with USB 1.1 and 2.0.
7. It is recommended to use the converter with free programs that support DMX control.
8. The converter supports up to 512 devices and has a transmission range of up to 1200 meters.
