To configure the network switch for the KD-IP1080 AV over IP Transmitter with Redundant Power, please follow these steps:
1. Begin with all TXs and RXs and other network equipment disconnected from the AVOIP network switch.
2. Refer to the setup instructions provided in the attached document for the specific network switch you will be using. If you haven't specified a network switch or have changed switches, make sure to use a switch from the Verified Switches List (QR code provided).
3. If you are stacking network switches, use a 1G fiber SFP.
4. Install the TXs and RXs, ensuring that they have proper ventilation and are not stacked.
5. Make sure all CAT5e/6 terminations are proper.
6. Connect the HDMI sources to the HDMI Input on the TXs (not the HDMI Pass-through).
7. Connect the TXs and RXs into the Network Switch and power on the Network Switch.
8. IMPORTANT: The Network Switch must already be configured as per step #2 above.
9. Wait for 5-10 minutes for the equipment to boot up.
10. If applicable, connect the KD-MC1000 or KD-CX800 control interface devices to the network.
11. Connect your Windows PC to the network using an Ethernet cable.
12. Set a unique static IP address for your PC, matching the first 3 octets of the TXs and RXs.
13. Download KDMS Pro (QR Code provided) and extract the zip file. Open the KDMS_Pro application.
14. IMPORTANT: Do not remove the application from the folder.
15. Choose SCAN > NETWORK SCAN in KDMS Pro, and it will find your system.
16. Control the system using KDMS Pro's control UI section.
17. For HDMI routing, select the display first and then the desired source.
18. IMPORTANT: Do not adjust ENC or DEC properties without consulting Technical Support.
19. If applicable, you can now add your WiFi router to the network, join the WiFi network from your iPad, download the Key Digital App, and control the system.
