To set up your Vivint Ping Indoor Camera, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your SkyControl panel is operating on software version A.01.3.x or higher.
2. Make sure you have an Internet upload and download speed of at least 1 Mbps for proper camera and app functionality.
3. Check that the wireless signal strength from the camera to the panel is greater than 70%.
4. Plug in the camera and wait for it to fully boot up.
5. On your panel's home screen, click the Menu icon (top left corner).
6. Select Settings, then Installer Toolbox.
7. Enter the PIN code 2203.
8. Click on Cameras, then select the camera you want to add (default name is "camera 1" if not renamed).
9. Click Delete in the top right corner and wait for the camera to delete itself (wait for a full 3 minutes).
10. Go back to the Installer Toolbox and click on Cameras again.
11. Click Add camera in the top right corner.
12. If available, select Add using WPS. The panel should display "Listening for device..."
13. Press and hold the top button on the Ping camera for 5 seconds, then release it.
14. Wait for the camera to connect, update firmware, reboot, and appear on the panel (approximately 5 minutes).
