1. For a 120 Volts AC500+B300S Backup System:
- Obtain the necessary accessories, including a transfer switch (Reliance TRK0505BR), a NEMA 14-50P to SS2-50R cord, and an AC charging cable.
- Follow the provided diagram for proper installation.
- Ensure that a licensed electrician performs the installation.
- Before plugging in your household appliances, check the voltage at the outlets.
2. For a 240 Volts AC500+B300S Backup System:
- Pair two sets of AC500+B300S together to create a 240V Split Phase System.
- In addition to two sets of AC500+B300S, you will need a transfer switch (Reliance TRK0505BR), an AC500 split-phase output cable, a NEMA 14-50 socket, and an AC500 split-phase AC charging cable.
- Create an emergency energy plan that outlines the appliances you need during a power outage.
- Connect the AC500+B300S sets to the transfer switch using the AC500 split-phase output cable.
- Connect the two AC500 units via the communication cable.
- Set the machine type to "Split phase" for both sets.
- Ensure that a licensed electrician performs the installation.
