To connect the pressure hose to the system to be tested using the ROTHENBERGER RP50-S Test Pump, follow these steps:
1. Inspect the pump and its components for any signs of damage. Do not use the pump if the pressure hose or other components are damaged or broken.
2. Ensure that all of the system's valves and shut-off valves are shut before starting the test.
3. Connect the pressure hose to the system to be tested.
4. Open valve V1 (shut-off valve) and shut valve V2 (drainage valve).
5. Open the system to be tested and fill it using the pump lever or increase the pressure when the system is filled.
6. Continue pumping until the desired test pressure is reached.
7. Once the specified test pressure is reached, shut valve V1.
8. If the test pressure is exceeded, open valve V2 slightly until the desired pressure is reached, and then shut valve V2 again.
9. After the leak test has been run, open valves V1 and V2 to drain the system.
Important: Vent the system after the test pressure has been reached and wait for the system to stabilize (temperature/pressure equalization) before adjusting the test pressure if necessary.
Note: It is recommended to refer to the ROTHENBERGER RP50-S Test Pump Instruction Manual for detailed instructions and safety precautions before using the test pump.
