To install the Datavideo RMK-2 2U Rackmount Kit, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have all the necessary components listed in the accessory list, including the RMK-2 product, DC cable, manual, adaptor DC 12V / 5.0A, AC cord, cable tie, and M5 * 10 xxxx .
2. Choose a suitable location in your rack for the RMK-2. The adjustable rack ears allow for versatile installation.
3. Insert the RMK-2 into the rack slot, making sure it is securely positioned.
4. Connect the DC cable to the RMK-2's DC input port.
5. Connect the other end of the DC cable to a power source with the provided adaptor DC 12V / 5.0A.
6. Use the included M5 * 10 Screws to secure the RMK-2 in place, if necessary.
7. Ensure that the RMK-2 is properly connected to the devices you want to stack, such as DAC-8P/9P/60/70, using the 16 DC output ports.
8. Double-check all connections and ensure that the RMK-2 is securely installed.
