To disassemble and recycle the Hypertherm HPR Auto Gas Select, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the system from the power outlet and wait five minutes to allow all the stored energy to discharge.
2. Using a T20 TORX driver, remove the bolts and discard them into the mixed metal recycling stream.
3. Using a T20 TORX driver, remove the bolts and discard them into the mixed metal recycling stream.
4. Using a T20 TORX driver and a 5/16 inch socket, remove the bolts and nuts. Discard the bolts and nuts into the mixed metal recycling stream. Discard the PCB into the E-waste recycling stream.
5. Using an 11/32 inch socket and a Phillips screwdriver, remove the nuts and screws. Pull to remove the wires. Discard the nuts, screws, and wires into the mixed metal recycling stream. Discard the PCB into the E-waste recycling stream.
6. (Optional) Discard the wires into the mixed metal recycling stream.
7. Using a 7/16 inch socket, remove the nuts and pull to remove the wires. Discard the nuts and wires into the mixed metal recycling stream.
8. Using a T20 TORX driver and a 1/4 inch socket, remove the bolts and nuts. Discard the bolts and nuts into the mixed metal recycling stream.
9. Using a Phillips screwdriver and an 11/32 inch socket, remove the screws and nuts. Discard the screws and nuts into the mixed metal recycling stream. Discard the PCB into the E-waste recycling stream.
10. Using a Phillips screwdriver and a 1/32 inch socket, remove the screws and nuts. Discard the screws and nuts into the mixed metal recycling stream.
11. Using a 1/4 inch socket and a 7/16 inch socket, remove the nuts. Discard the nuts into the mixed metal recycling stream. Discard the PCB into the E-waste recycling stream.
12. Using a 1/4 inch socket and a 7/16 inch socket, remove the nuts. Recycle the nuts into the mixed metal recycling stream.
