To connect the Tuya String Lights to your smartphone using the Smart Life app, please follow these steps:
1. Download the "Smart Life" app from the App Store or Google Play Market, or scan the QR Code provided in the manual to install the app on your iOS or Android device.
2. Once downloaded, open the app and register your account by typing your email. You will receive a verification code in your email, which you need to enter to complete the registration process.
3. Make sure your smartphone or device is connected to your home Wi-Fi network on the 2.4GHz frequency.
4. Hold the controller button on the Tuya String Lights for 5 seconds until the red lights start rapidly flashing (2 times per second).
5. Open the Smart Life app and click the "+" button to select "Auto Scan Mode". The app will automatically scan for products that can be connected.
6. Once the Tuya String Lights are detected, the app will prompt the connection. Click "Done" to complete the setup.
7. Now you can control the Tuya String Lights through the Smart Life app.
If you encounter any issues during the setup process, please make sure that your device is connected to power and your phone is connected to Wi-Fi. Additionally, check if your router is a dual-band router and select the 2.4GHz network for device connection. Ensure that the router broadcasting function is enabled and the wireless router settings meet the recommended requirements mentioned in the manual.
