To connect the patient circuit to the ABM Alpha Remote Operated Telehealth Ventilator, follow these steps:
1. Determine the type of patient circuit you will be using:
a. Single Limb Circuit
b. Dual Limb Circuit
c. Dual Limb Circuit with Active Humidifier
2. Once you have determined the type of patient circuit, refer to the corresponding setup instructions in the user manual.
3. For a Single Limb Circuit:
a. Connect the patient inhalation port of the ventilator to the patient's airway.
b. Connect the patient exhalation port of the ventilator to the patient's exhalation pathway.
4. For a Dual Limb Circuit:
a. Connect the patient inhalation port of the ventilator to the inspiratory limb of the patient circuit.
b. Connect the patient exhalation port of the ventilator to the expiratory limb of the patient circuit.
5. For a Dual Limb Circuit with Active Humidifier:
a. Connect the patient inhalation port of the ventilator to the inspiratory limb of the patient circuit.
